/ Between Time & Light

To showcase new and existing collections for WonderGlass at Milan Design Week 2017, a design was realised to inspire feelings of a contemporary art exhibition. Set within the Sala Barozzi at the Istituto dei Ciechi, the modern lighting pieces designed by Marcel Wanders, Nao Tamura, Hideki Yoshimoto and Dan Yeffet, created a surreal contrast to the frescoes on the walls as the WonderGlass works inhabited scenes surrounded by metallic structures, water-filled beakers and intense red drapes.

Linking the installation and the surrounding space were gold and silver mirrors fitted to the top of the metallic and geometric structure - the reflective material allowing the frescoes on the ceiling of Sala Barozzi to invade the structure. Collections were presented through the themes of nature, alchemy and matter with two screens centrally placed, transmitting a dance of images to complement the installation.
